WB DC Justice League Panel SDCC

Warner Bros. and DC along with several key cast members of the Justice League film unveiled the latest official trailer (#2) for the entertainment company’s’ most anticipated project to date…following an impressive Wonder Woman project by Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins.

Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Ezra Miller, and Jason Momoa were all present during the reveal. Attendees from the Panel in Hall H and social media have been absolutely buzzing following the preview of the latest trailer. Key words in said social media posts heavily leaned towards “blown away”, “amazing”, and much much more. It’s safe to say, all reservations that Zack Snyder and company are/were not capable of making a film of this caliber have been laid to rest.

We aren’t going to go into detail regarding the trailer as there are several posts on social media and websites that cover the trailer fairly well. What we will say is that the shots of the characters and what was said by them in the trailer (uh including what we can assume is Steppenwolf) left us speechless. The trailer absolutely gave us a good look at all (well most of the characters) and what we are to expect from them. Steppenwolf, from what we can see in the trailer, looks far better than early reports and concerns about his appearance with the CGI development.

The cast were all in great spirits. Ezra Miller came out in a blonde wig and Ray Fisher showed his support for Zack Snyder by ripping off his t-shirt revealing his black t-shirt with the I heart ZS (Zack Snyder). Crowd reactions were far from tame during the discussion and trailer unveiling. Plenty of rumor and speculation surrounding the Green Lantern Corp. and whether they (one of them) will make an appearance in the JL film. The trailer might give us the clue(s) we seek.

November cannot come soon enough. I don’t think I am alone with this statement.

Ben Affleck also refuted rumors that he will be stepping away from the Batman character altogether. As far as he and the studio are concerned The Batman is still a go and is moving forward with development, including script edits. Some rumors have a full re-write. Matt Reaves is still slated to direct..he is soon to be coming off the post promotions for his sucessful War of the Planet of the Apes.
